What are you using for a base? It looks like either craft foam or thick styrene? (The black and white material)

What are you using to sculpt these with? Foam? Super light clay?

Looking at the way your building this crazy MH armor really gives me ideas for my own projects and inspires me to start working on' em already! So far, you've been outdoing yourself, man! I get excited to see your uploads, because you always come out with something crazy/cool. I can't wait to see all this come together and finished. :)
OH, and the photo on the bottom where you are modeling the helm... sjfgsgskg, LOL. YOU LOOK LIKE A CAT. It's cute. X'D

Akantor armor, huh? Your armor cosplays just keep getting more and more impressive. It's awe-inspiring. I actually wanted to do an MH cosplay myself... and I'm curious what materials you used for this.

I really like the moulding and details of this piece (and the claw gauntlet in your other pic); it's shaping up to look as if it came from a real Monster. xD

pretty much all type of clay work, just depend how much you can carry lol. molding is much lighter. but to answer the question that clay is Apoxie Sculpt. it work like glue u can use to put 2 pieces together and it strong on it own when dried.
