sometime i wonder if this really worth it :( molding/casting costs so much when it involve doing a full body cast. its roughly around $300.00 using the cheapest method. molding and casting are roughly $150.00 for 1 gal each which arent bad since it last awhile. SURE i can do easy cosplay but knowing myself i cant do it :( i like complicated artwork the challenge make it more rewarding. **if it aint complicated it aint me!** BUT i guess as long you have fun it making it made it all worth while.

You're right though, in the end~ As long as you enjoy it, right?

And your cosplays are amazing so for people who see you, it's worth it too~ and it's obvious how much effort is put in~

I'm pretty amazed though. Where do you even get that kind of money? That looks like a really stupid question. You work, I assume(?) orz

Ever try carving it out of foam instead of bodycasting? Or doing a duct tape dummy? Those a much, much cheaper and get good results too.

I spent around $250 for my Rosso the Crimson cosplay, but I swore never to spend that much again. I always look for the cheapest route these days.

i tho about using foam cast but its the same costs as me using resin fiberglass from homedepot and the foam is way too weak to handle the sculpting from oilclay. duct tape actually cost me more then plaster bandages lol.
